Nicholas J. Singer has been a business visionary and entrepreneur for over 35 years. Mr. Singer is the CEO of HyperDisk Marketing along with several other affiliated companies and thought-leadership organizations. Mr. Singer founded HyperDisk Marketing in 1994, after recognizing that the digital revolution would change communications forever. He helped pioneer the early digital marketing evolution from video encoding, to advanced interactive displays, to the fully integrated content development and digital distribution.
Since 1978, Mr. Singer has been developing complex engineering solutions for businesses. In fact, Mr. Singer was an engineer on multiple classified projects for Summa Corporation before transitioning full time into industrial development, consulting, and environment technologies. In in the 1980’s, Mr. Singer developed the nation’s first HAZMAT emergency response program, pioneering effective methods of hazardous material emergency response management, consulting, communications, training and mitigation. The United States current HAZMAT programs are based on Mr. Singer’s model.
In 1985, Mr. Singer co-founded Pacific Industrial Services (1985-1992) and during his tenure, he invented several innovative systems for separation of hazardous waste and controlling toxic emissions in oil refineries. In 1993, Pacific Industrial was successfully acquisitioned by Allwaste Industrial Services. In 1994, Mr. Singer parlayed his vast experience in engineering and consulting, to develop one of the nation’s first full-service digital communication firms, which is now HyperDisk Marketing Inc.
Steven V. Seghers is President of HyperDisk Marketing, and has been with the company since its inception in 1994. Mr. Seghers lead the company’s early efforts as a digital innovator in retail travel, tourism, real estate, and healthcare industries. For 20 years, Mr. Seghers supported the digital marketing transformation for many major corporations and brands, including Sony Tran Com, Thales Avionics, Preferred Hotel Group, Peninsula Group, Montage Residential, Trump International, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Kaiser Permanente, Sea Island, and St. Regis. Mr. Seghers is a member of the prestigious International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC) and has been recognized as a Master Hotel Supplier (MHS) by the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
Mr. Seghers is directly involved in all client and new business partnerships, including his long-standing hospitality focus with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Salamander Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Hotels, The Irvine Company Resorts, Passport Resorts, PlumpJack Group, Commune Hotels & Resorts, and others. His leadership supported several industry leading innovations, including personalized search and social marketing, dynamic prospecting, integrated analytics and big data, performance-based advertising initiatives, and integrated fusion marketing.
Mr. Seghers oversees and manage all aspects of HyperDisk Marketing, including its wide-ranging emarketing expertise in hospitality, real estate, pharmaceutical, healthcare and technology verticals. He has been an industry speaker and noted analyst for many organizations, including the University of Las Vegas, Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI), American Marketing Association (AMA), and Orbitz.com.
Jennifer Su is President of HyperDisk Marketing Limited, Hong Kong, and Executive Vice President of HyperDisk Marketing United States. Mrs. Su has been with the company since 2005, and she oversees and manages all strategic digital projects, marketing, and technology solutions.
Mrs. Su has vast experience managing the company’s client business needs in retail, hospitality, healthcare, real estate, and she is highly skilled at providing strategic digital business plans, financial forecasts, and detailed marketing integrations. Mrs. Su directly managed the worldwide marketing efforts for Preferred Hotel Group, Starwood Hotels & Resorts – Hawaii, Trump International, Hilton Worldwide, along with technology and production support efforts for over 250 client accounts, representing nearly 1,500 hotels, resorts, and residences worldwide. Mrs. Tan also oversees the ecommerce efforts for all business accounts, including our accounts with PGA TOUR affiliated courses, resorts, and retail shops.
Over the past several years, her efforts have helped to ensure that the company stays abreast of industry trends and emerging opportunities, including deep integration into social, search, and integrated big data solutions. Her leadership has been instrumental in supporting major client initiatives and her role as President in Hong Kong will allow the company to expand its resources throughout Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific region.
Mrs. Su graduated from Cornell University School of Hospitality, where she focused primarily on marketing, revenue management, and business operations.
Jim Lowrey is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for HyperDisk Marketing. Mr. Lowrey is responsible for internal programming and application development both for clients and within the company’s IT infrastructure. Mr. Lowrey has been the lead architect and developer for our entire production team for over 10 years. He is responsible for leading the company’s core applications including HyperDisk’s CRM tool, Opt2u, and the company’s proprietary content management system (CMS) code named "MD-ADMIN" or HyperPortal.
Mr. Lowrey is also a widely regarded web security specialist, featured on both CNN and at the O’Reilley P2P Technology Conference. He understands application development from the ground up, and how to apply solutions in a marketing/ecommerce environment. Mr. Lowrey received a Master of Science Degree in Mathematics at Cal State Long Beach.
Michael Mustafa is the Vice President of Sales and Strategic Services for both new business development and external client support services, consulting, and full-service support marketing. Mr. Mustafa is an accomplished sales and marketing executive with over 25-years of experience serving global hospitality brands and 5-star resorts.
Mr. Mustafa most recently served as the Director of Sales & Marketing for Hilton Anaheim, one of the nation's largest non-gaming hotels with over 1,500 guest rooms and over 140,000 square feet of meeting space. His leadership, vision, and marketing / sales acumen helped to drive revenue to record levels in 2013-2014. He accomplished this through an integrated marketing strategy, driving both superior rate growth and significant corporate group sales initiatives. Prior to Hilton, Mr. Mustafa was the architect of one of the most significant turn-arounds for the St. Regis Monarch Beach, a Mobile Five-Star resort, where he lead a brand-and-independent marketing platform that significantly expanded leisure business while building a new corporate group base.
With every hospitality asset, Mr. Mustafa has leveraged his marketing and sales experience for managed, corporate, urban, resort and airport properties, including The Westin South Coast Plaza, Sheraton Gateway, Remington Hotels (Hilton Costa Mesa), and Interstate Hotels & Resorts. In 2007, he was named Sales Leader of the Year for all Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
He is a graduate of St. Joseph's College of Rensselaer, Indiana, and he enjoys spending time with his three children, playing golf, and traveling to his second hometown of Chicago. .
Mr. Johnson is a 30 year hospitality and brand executive veteran with proven capabilities in leading high-profile sales, marketing, communication hotel and resort entities and teams globally. He has led teams domestically and internationally generating record sales and market share in multiple market segments and channels. He is an accomplished, innovative marketing executive adept at broad strategy development in marketing and management of: offline, online, branding, partner marketing, analytics, public relations, hotel launch or repositioning, customer acquisition and CRM. Experience in all aspects of sales and marketing with a core focus on revenue generation.
At Hyperdisk Marketing he is responsible for developing a comprehensive business growth strategy for new company business, account growth, brand awareness and client retention., digital and offline marketing strategy advisory for all accounts focused on revenue generation, demand creation, brand strategy, digital and traditional media mix review , advisory and planning, competitive analysis, branding, positioning, launch, re-launch, repositioning strategy development and execution.
In 2002, Mr. Johnson launched Montage Hotels & Resorts and was responsible for the company’s hotel, resort and residential marketing efforts. This included brand development and positioning strategies and new property launch planning, including advertising, online, electronic and partner marketing, promotions, leisure sales and public relations, and communication strategies. While there, he was instrumental in the launch of Montage -Laguna Beach, CA, Montage Beverly Hills, CA and Montage, Deer Valley in Park City Utah.
Previously, he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Destination Hotels & Resorts, where he established the Royal Palms in Phoenix, Arizona as a luxury contender in the marketplace and, as well as re-branded and repositioned numerous key assets in the company’s portfolio.
Mr. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Youngstown State University in Ohio.
David Wilson is the Vice President, IT at HyperDisk Marketing and has been with the company since its inception. Mr. Wilson has a strong background in business IT consulting, development, technology solutions, and he has been programming solutions since 1979.
Mr. Wilson develops and organizes company technology standards and policies, develops backend schema structures, and helps client businesses direct their digital infrastructure and digital backbone. Mr. Wilson also works closely with all third party partners to ensure that our hardware infrastructure is sound and aggressively maintained.
At the core of his ongoing efforts, Mr. Wilson ensures that the technology foundation is both scalable and flexible enough to ensure long-term profitability for our clients. Working with a team of programmers and IT professionals, Mr. Wilson develops technology solutions that can scale and are sustainable. Mr. Wilson developed the one of the first 360-degree image viewers and later worked with Apple Computer Inc. to implement one of the first CD-ROMs based on Apple's new VR engine.
Mr. Wilson works extensively with all client accounts, and has extensive experience in media and Pharma/Biotech companies. He has a degree in medical sciences and is a licensed Registered Nurse. Prior to joining HyperDisk, Mr. Wilson worked in clinical setting for 4 years, and moved on to help Bozell Health Care West establish their internet marketing department. Mr. Wilson also designed and developed presentations for companies such as Toshiba Medical, Baxter Healthcare, Beckman Instruments Inc., Trega Biosciences, Inc. to name a few, and helped launch both the Botox and Johnson & Johnson tradeshow campaigns.
Kathy Chang is the Global Art Director for HyperDisk Marketing. Ms. Chang is responsible for all brand development, digital communication design, consumer user interface direction, ecommerce integrations, and consultative art direction and analysis. She has been with the company for over 10 years, having lead the company’s digital design department since 2001. She has helped the company secure over 20 international Adrian Awards for interactive design and development.
Ms. Chang has a highly global perspective into design and layout, having studied both digital and traditional creative mediums in the United States, Taiwan, and with the company’s international accounts. She takes a holistic view of the target audience and bends interactive designs into unique experiences that drive clicks, engagement, and critical conversions: revenue. Her designs account for mobile, desktop and tablet experiences, while integrating the full-framework of ecommerce functionality.
Ms. Chang has been deeply involved in all HyperDisk Marketing business ventures, including our Travel Wise Portal, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Hawaii, Hilton Worldwide, Broughton Hotels, Joie de Vivre Hotels, Sea Island, Mark-Taylor Residential, Abraxis BioScience, Thales Avionics, Half Moon Bay Golf, and over 500 major account and business integrations. Ms. Chang graduated with honors in design and architecture from UC Berkeley.
Roger Burns is a 30 year hospitality veteran with a keen understanding of marketing, sales, and digital integration. Mr. Burns is primarily responsible for overseeing HyperDisk Marketing’s hospitality division, focusing on strategic implementations, marketing strategy, and ongoing consulting for owners and on-property sales, marketing and operations.
Mr. Burns has worked for a variety of hotels and resorts, including his most recent engagement at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort as the Director of Sales & Marketing. Mr. Burns was heavily involved in spearheading highly aggressive and successful digital marketing tactics to drive top-line revenue objectives.
In 2001, Mr. Burns was part of the preopening sales and marketing team for Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach, where he led the hotels’ sales efforts and helped secure over $10M in revenue. Previously, he worked for several Marriott properties and was heavily involved in sales and marketing efforts for hotels, food and beverage outlets, and on-property operational efforts.
Mr. Burns earned his BA at Dakota Wesleyan University and a Graphic Design certification at Colorado Institute. He also achieved elite status of Masters in Sales with Hyatt Hotels, along with top sales performance for Marriott Hotels.
Randy Stuck is the Vice President for HyperDisk Marketing. Since 2009, Mr Stuck has helped HyperDisk Marketing implement critical digital marketing initiatives to drive ecommerce revenue, build localization efforts, improve local and global search engine optimization (SEO) results, integrate social media strategies, and provide integrated analytics packages to maximize results.
Mr. Stuck has led our search and social marketing efforts for over 4 years, having launched our international search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns for Preferred Hotel Group, Historic Hotels Worldwide, Starwood Hotels & Resorts – Hawaii, Commune Hotels & Resorts, Broughton Hotels & Resorts, Salamander Hotels & Resorts, and Trump International, just to name a few. He directs a team of digital marketing experts that oversee local and national media campaigns, display advertising, retargeting, behavioral marketing, and personalized outbound campaigns.
Mr. Stuck is widely involved in marketing and technology and has been a guest speaker for several notable organizations, including the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International. He graduated with a BS in Business & Marketing from Biola University.
