Nick Singer, Founder and CEO

Mr. Singer is the Founder and CEO of HyperDisk Marketing, along with several other affiliated companies.  Mr. Singer provides direct company oversight and develops ongoing strategies and is involved in new business development.

With over 30 years of business management, Mr. Singer has numerous technical innovations to his credit. As a recognized leader in the field of environmental technologies, Mr. Singer has set the stage for other successful ventures. Prior to founding HyperDisk in 1994, Mr. Singer co-founded Pacific Industrial Services (1985-1992). During his tenure with Pacific Industrial, Mr. Singer developing a wide range of systems for separation of hazardous waste and controlling toxic emissions in oil refineries. In 1993, Pacific Industrial was successfully acquisitioned by Allwaste Industrial Services.

Prior to his years at Pacific Industrial, Mr. Singer worked with International Technologies Corporation for five years (1975-1980). During this time, Mr. Singer developed the nation’s first HAZMAT emergency response program, pioneering effective methods of hazardous material emergency response management, training and mitigation. HAZMAT programs based on Mr. Singer’s model are now found throughout the nation. Meanwhile, sales at Industrial Technologies eventually exceeded 1 billion annually.

Prior to working with Industrial Technologies, Mr. Singer served with Summa Corporation on multiple classified projects. Mr. Singer received his Board Certification in  S&H Engineering in 1978.

 

Steven V. Seghers, MHS, President

Mr. Seghers is the President of HyperDisk Marketing and is directly involved in all facets of the company’s operation.  Mr. Seghers focuses on new business acquisition and strategic account management for the all of the company’s national accounts.

Mr. Seghers has 15 years experience in emarketing, having been involved in this industry almost from its inception. His background incorporates a particular emphasis on all aspects of emarketing. Mr. Seghers has been a leading pioneer in providing emarketing and technology consulting services for traditional and non-traditional sales and marketing endeavors. His vast knowledge and approach helps companies implement cohesive and tactical emarketing/sales plans that drive revenue, cut-costs and tap into the ever-important Internet marketplace.

Mr. Seghers has been widely involved in the hospitality and Bio/Pharma arena, and has been a guest speaker for several notable organizations, including Hilton Corporation, University of Las Vegas, Destination Hotels & Resorts, HSMAI, American Marketing Association, and Orbitz.com. 

 

Laurice Nahas, Director of Marketing, Accounts

Laurice Nahas is the Director of Marketing for HyperDisk Marketing’s topmost accounts. Laurice is responsible for providing high-level strategic analysis, marketing support and hands-on media and development expertise. With over 17 years of marketing experience, Laurice develops and implements strategic programs to increase revenue and market share through a comprehensive emarketing approach that involves budget planning, benchmarking and consistent consumer outreach. Laurice has tremendous expertise in creating tactical emarketing programs that drive revenue for the short and long-term.

Prior to joining HyperDisk, Laurice served as Marketing Manager at a major online advertising company, Specific Media, where she was responsible for managing global marketing strategies, advertising, direct marketing and public relations. Prior to that, she developed product launch programs and oversaw marketing communications at First American Corelogic Corporation. Previous to that at Tech Data Corporation, she lead a team that managed strategic accounts including IBM, Apple, Sony, Toshiba, Panasonic, Sun Microsystems, and Acer.

David Wilson, Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Wilson is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at HyperDisk Marketing and has been with the Company since its inception. Mr. Wilson has a strong background in technology and computing, having worked in Cobol and Basic programming since 1979.

Mr. Wilson develops and organizes company technology standards & policies, develops backend schema structures, guidelines, and pricing backdrops in the implementation of our technology services.  Mr. Wilson also works closely with all third party partners to ensure that our hardware infrastructure is sound and aggressively maintained.

At the core of his ongoing efforts, Mr. Wilson ensures that the technology foundation is both scalable and flexible enough to ensure long-term profitability for our clients.  Working with a team of programmers and IT professionals, Mr. Wilson develops technology solutions that work.

Mr. Wilson developed the one of the first 360 degree image viewers and later worked with Apple Computer Inc. to implement one of the first CDROMs based on Apple's new VR engine.

Mr. Wilson works extensively with all client accounts, and has extensive experience in media and Pharma/Biotech companies. He has a degree in medical sciences and is a license Registered Nurse.  Prior to joining Hyperdisk, Mr. Wilson worked in clinical setting for 4 years, and moved on to help Bozell Health Care West establish their internet marketing department. Mr. Wilson also designed and developed presentations for companies such as Toshiba Medical, Baxter Healthcare, Beckman Instruments Inc., Trega Biosciences, Inc. to name a few, and helped launch both the Botox and Johnson & Johnson tradeshow campaigns.

 

Jim Lowrey, Chief Information Officer

Mr. Lowrey is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for HyperDisk Marketing.  Mr. Lowrey is responsible for internal programming and application development both for clients and within the company’s IT infrastructure.

Mr. Lowrey is fluent in C#, VB, ASP, Java, Object Orientated Design, JavaScript, DHTML, PHP, HTTP, and SQL – allowing him to incorporate an unusual breadth of technology acumen for all dynamic projects and technology applications.  As the CIO, Jim is both hands-on and interactive, ensuring that all our technology solutions are working in harmony with any given platform (Microsoft, Unix, etc.).

Mr. Lowrey is also a widely regarded web security specialist, featured on both CNN and at the O’Reilley P2P Technology Conference.  He understands application development from the ground up, and how to apply solutions in a marketing/ecommerce environment.

Mr. Lowrey received a Master of Science Degree in Mathematics at Cal State Long Beach.

 

Steven R. Herron, Director of Strategic Marketing

Mr. Herron’s  career began in the traditional ad agency business in account management and media planning where he worked with several internationally acclaimed firms before transitioning into online marketing at HyperDisk.  Mr. Herron is now responsible for strategic marketing and planning for all hospitality and consumer-focused accounts. 

Mr. Herron graduated from the prestigious E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism specializing in Advertising and Public Relations. He has worked in the advertising and marketing field for over 20 years and served two terms as the American Advertising Federation’s (AAF) Governor of Virginia. Mr. Herron is also active in the American Marketing Association (AMA) serving on the board of the Hampton Roads, Virginia Chapter for seven years including one term as president.

Mr. Herron also serves on the advisory board of the Resort Marketing Shared Interest Group of Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) and on the board of the Washington, D.C. chapter of HSMAI. He is an adjunct professor at Hampton University’s Scripps School of Journalism teaching Advertising and Media Buying courses. He has been a guest speaker at annual conferences of Virginia Meeting Planners International, AMA meetings, and has been a judge for the Atlanta AMY Awards, and the Adrian Awards in New York City.
